With this post I’m taking a point of personal privilege.
I was blessed this past weekend to attend and be part of the 5th Annual Moms For Liberty Joyful Warriors National Summit in Dallas, TX. And from start to finish it was a truly inspirational experience. These women (and men) are who’s working every day to save our Country, our Culture and our Society. When I left Dallas on Sunday afternoon, I had a feeling of goodness and hopefulness.
I want to give a “shout out” to Tina Descovich, and her whole Moms for Liberty events team, for how smoothly everything happened. From the Thursday night opening reception, to the end of the Sunday morning Faith breakfast, there was an incredibly positive and uplifting attitude in the whole facility. I can’t remember seeing a sad face at the event during the whole weekend. Not one. I’m not sure I can say that about any of the hundreds of events I’ve attended over the years.
In case you’ve been under a rock for the past five years, Moms for Liberty is the premier Conservative activism organization in the Country today. They were birthed by the crimes of COVID and the abuse of kids by the educrats and “sick-care” industries. And they moved the ball for the kids. Following that early period, M4L saw what our government education industry was doing to the kids, and went on the offensive to protect the kids and to push for parent’s rights, which were being eroded. They started letting us know, “We Don’t Co-parent with Government”, and they don’t.
Once they opened the “Pandora’s Box”, that is the government education industry, they just kept expanding their reach. They’ve been active leaders in the exposure of porn books in school libraries and started working to remove these books from access by the kids. And no, despite what Southern Poverty Law Center says, who awarded M4L with their “hate group” prize, M4L are not “book banners”, they just believe books in schools should be “age appropriate” for which kids have access to them. I have to agree that a 7 year-old shouldn’t have open access to sexually explicit “literature”.
They’re now very involved in exposing and removing the growing fervent LGBTQRSW invasion of our schools. Whether it’s fighting against the insanity of biological boys participating in girls sports, or biological boys declaring they’re girls so they can invade girls private spaces, bathrooms, locker rooms and/or showers, M4L is on the front lines exposing and fighting for the kids. And then on Saturday they announced the next big thing- “Today at the Moms for Liberty National Summit, CEO & Co-founder Tina Descovich announced the deployment of a new artificial intelligence program monitoring school board agendas across more than 13,000 school districts nationwide. M4L AWARE, which stands for “Agenda Watch, Alert, Respond, Engage,” will now equip our members across the country with detailed information about local school board topics and votes before the votes occur.”
In closing, back to the Summit, I can’t say enough about how the whole event celebrates these Joyful Warriors, and the wonderful difference that they’re making for the kids in our Country. I know it’s going to be hard to do, but something tells me Tina and the team will take it a step higher for the 6th Annual Summit. It’s just what Moms do, raise the bar for us all.
