This past week a New York Times article https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/26/us/politics/united-states-refugees-trump.html?_r=1, not sure whether it was fake or real news, reported that the Trump Administration has doubled the number of refugees to be admitted to the United States through various Refugee Resettlement Programs. To be perfectly honest, I was very upset to read this. For the last two+ years, I have been a loud and outspoken opponent of the insanity of the resettling of refugees from various moslem-majority countries around the World, who have shown that they have no desire or plans to assimilate to our Culture. Why has, for the last 20+ years, our national government chosen to import enemies of our Country? And on top of that, provide them with the “Enhanced Status” of being “refugees”? This just doesn’t make any sense.
We believe that We The People have been being subverted, and hoodwinked, by our own government through these “refugee” programs. I wanted to ask a simple question to get a better understanding of what is happening, “So, what is a refugee?” I realize that it has become a term that is casually applied to any foreigner the government wants to provide convenient cover to enter our Country. But, what actually does it mean? Here-
From Merriam Webster Dictionary-
Refugee definition. A refugee is defined as a person outside of his or her country of nationality who is unable or unwilling to return because of persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, or membership in a particular social group, or political opinions.
If we were to operate our Middle Eastern “refugee” programs in accordance to this universal definition, wouldn’t vast majority of those we “rescued” from countries like Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc. be Christians, Jews, Hindus and members of other non-moslem religious denominations that are truly being persecuted? Shouldn’t those people be at the head of the line for this program? Why should moslems, in a moslem-majority country, be the first to qualify as “refugees”? We would contend that they shouldn’t. In fact, they should be at the end of the line behind those people who are truly in fear of persecution. It should also be noted that most of these recent “refugees” we have resettled over the last several years have been brought from their “country of nationality”. How would they even qualify for “refugee” status when they don’t meet even the first criteria of the legal definition?
So, back to the “report” that the Trump Administration intends to increase the number of “refugees” it will allow to come to the United States. Well, since the previous Jarrett Administration has changed the definition of “refugee”, as far as the legal definition, why can’t the Trump Administration use this change to totally redirect from where new “refugees” to the United States will originate? What if the decision was made that the new expanded “refugee” program was focused on the Christians in Europe, particularly in Eastern Europe, who are now being pushed aside, by their own governments, to provide for the moslem migrants that are invading Europe? To me this would much more benefit the United States than importing thousands of people who have no plans to ever assimilate in to our Culture.
Imagine thousands of freedom-loving, and appreciative Christians, who will actually provide a benefit to the US Citizens, being the “refugees” that we start providing asylum to in this Country. As these people, who survived living under Soviet rule, are now being overrun by the moslem invasion, shouldn’t these be the first choice for our Refugee Resettlement programs? For the first time in decades, we would be giving refugee status to people who would appreciate the opportunities that this great Republic offers to all lawful residents. They would still be the subject of proper vetting and would agree to the terms that are expected of those who come to this Country. To me this makes much more sense than bringing in peoples who originate in countries where the two favorite slogans heard at rallies are “allahu akbar” and “Death to America”. Just a little food for thought about how we return to our “refugee” programs actually being a benefit to the Country, the Culture, and to the US Citizen.
God Bless America! And America, Please Bless God Again!!
