Subtitle: At least in the hearts and minds of the “news” media.
Over the last several weeks we’ve been fed more “The Russians hacked our elections” garbage, from the losers, than anybody can possibly digest. With “garbage” and “losers” being the operative words in that statement. This has been the whole plan of the Democrats for months as a device to try to derail and undermine Mr. Trump’s Presidency through distraction. The positive thing is that President Trump has just gone about doing the business he was elected to do, while the Democrats from every direction just keep slinging garbage at the wall, hoping something might stick. Nothing really has and I don’t believe anything really will. And if it weren’t for the anti-Trump forces’ friends in the “news” media, the Russian story would have been dead long ago. But now it might take down the former President.
The real question that needs to be asked is, “With the Obama Admin. and the Clinton Foundation sleeping in the same bed with the Russians for the last 8 years, why would anybody believe that the Russians would prefer the “America First” candidate, Donald J. Trump, in the White House, instead of “Russia Reset” Hillary Clinton?” Now, do I believe that the Russians were attempting to interfere in our elections? Of course they were. But, in the same vein, has everybody now forgotten that operators for the Obama Admin. used US Taxpayer dollars to overtly attempt to stop the re-election of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu? I guess interfering or attempting to influence another Country’s elections is just what national governments do?
Now, for the next pertinent question, “how did the Russians effect or influence our elections and the outcome?” This seems to be the 800# gorilla, in the middle of the room, which is evidently invisible. Nobody seems to want to talk about the specifics of what were the mechanics involved in effecting and influencing our Presidential election. I know this is getting way far beyond where the “news” media wants anyone to go, if it might bring operational facts in to the discussion. Is the real question to be asked here, “Was the “news” media, through their extensive reporting on the alleged Russians’ involvement, the main operational mechanism by which the Russians influenced the election?” Could it be that the Russians used their pawns in our “news” media to influence our elections? And were the results what the Russians or anybody else involved was expecting?
Wouldn’t that just be the cat’s meow? All the while the “news” media is trying to tie “operatives” in the Trump Campaign to the Russians, to prove that they were trying to “hack” the election, the “news” media was actually doing the real work of influencing the election for the Russians. Since no one has provided any evidence of any collusion between the Russians and the Trump Campaign leading up to the election, was the Clinton Campaign feeding their “news” media buddies just enough information to try and create the illusion of the Russians/Trump “scandal”? Then, much to the chagrin of the Clinton Campaign, Wikileaks decided to release the Podesta emails, showing the Clintons colluded with their “friends” in the DNC to rig the primary against Bernie. They then had no choice but to say it was the Russians, in conjunction with the Trump Campaign, who “hacked” Podesta’s email and released them to hurt the Clinton Campaign.
The Clinton Campaign never expected that Julian Assange would then state, on multiple occasions, that the Russian State was NOT the source of his information and material. All the Clinton Campaign and the Obama Admin. could do was continue to say it was the Russians and that everybody knows that Assange is a criminal and a liar. I guess they just didn’t realize that with the majority of US Citizens, who cared, Julian Assange has much more credibility than the Clintons or Obama or anyone connected to them. Uh-oh! Then blindly the “news” media was continuing to assist the Russians in their “hacking” or influencing of the election and they didn’t even realize it because they are so out of touch with the US Citizens. So, maybe the Russians did influence the election. But the Trump Campaign had nothing to do with it. They didn’t need to because the “news” media was more than happy to handle that part.
