Editor’s Note: To say I’m totally pissed-off about this would be the understatement of the year!
Over the last several years, one of my missions, against all odds, has been working to free the Public School students in the State of North Carolina, from planned destruction. The destruction I have been on the front-line fighting is that which is foisted upon US by bribery, paid by the National Government, to the Educratic-cabal at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. And then shoveled, like feces on a mushroom patch, out in to every local school district in the State, growing more and more Educratic waste, while continuing to “dumb-down” the next generation of North Carolinians. You can find a summary of the history of this struggle in this previous Minuteman’s Minute- https://4pba.com/should-we-take-fed-ed-money/?v=7516fd43adaa. You can also find the Session Law that was created by the referenced 2017 NCGA Study Bill here- https://www.ncleg.net/Sessions/2017/Bills/Senate/PDF/S78v5.pdf This was signed in to law by Governor Ol’ Ray Cooper on July 20, 2017.
In this Session Law the first step moving forward to stem this destruction was a report from NCDPI as follows, “By no later than January 15, 2018, the Department of Public Instruction shall study, report, and provide any supporting data to the Fiscal Research Division and the Program Evaluation Division of the General Assembly on the cost of compliance with federal education funding mandates to local school administrative units.” When the Education Liaison with the NC House Speaker’s Office, contacted DPI in the week following the January 15, 2018 due date concerning this report, their response was “We were supposed to provide a report?” At least now, days AFTER the report was supposed to be provided to the Legislature, DPI acknowledged that they were indeed expected to provide this report. And later informed the Speaker’s Office that they would provide their report no later than March 15, 2018, only two months late.
Last Tuesday, I received a call from my Senator’s Legislative Assistant informing me that he was in possession of the DRAFT “report” from DPI in response to this Session Law and that he was forwarding it to me to review. He also informed me that this report was tentatively on the agenda for NC State Board of Education meeting last week for their review and/or approval as the official report from DPI on this matter. You can find the “report” at this link- https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_qnqfBF_2VkS2R5M2RTVElPMU5FT2lXdnFKbjFRWWZSbzVJ/view?usp=drivesdk
I hope you will take a moment to review this “report”. To say I’m incredibly “underwhelmed” by this joke of a “report” would be an understatement. I’m truly disturbed that the Educrats in the “Pink Palace on Halifax Mall” would show such blatant disrespect to the Legislature on such a serious subject. What may be even more disturbing would be how the State Board of Education approved this “report” as their official position. It makes it a little easier to understand how we are producing High School Graduates, who can’t read their diplomas, when you understand it is this kind of “Let them eat cake” Educrats who infest the offices at the very top of our State “education” establishment.
I can only guess that this National Government-induced level of intentional destruction of the next generation isn’t unique to the State of North Carolina? I’m deeply concerned that this cancer has now certainly spread to the Educrats across the Country, at the pleasure of those in Washington, DC, who bow at the altar of the globalists. I hope that anybody who reads this will contact their members of the North Carolina General Assembly and let them know you are truly upset that they are being openly disregarded like this by the Educrats at DPI and the State Board of Education. It’s long past time that the unelected, unaccountable career Educrats, living blissfully in their cubicles across the landscape of the Pink Palace on Halifax Mall, start being held accountable by our elected representatives. If something doesn’t change concerning this subject, and in a hurry, the future of this Great American Experiment isn’t looking good.
God Bless America! And America, Please Bless God Again!
