One of our fellow US Citizens has had enough and is standing for all of US. In the fight in South Carolina over the mislabeled program of “Refugee Resettlement”, Mr. Brian Bilbro, a resident of Chapin, SC, is taking a stand. Mr. Bilbro has filed a lawsuit against SC Governor Nikki Haley, the SC Department of Social Services and two “non-profits”, which are “paid by the head resettled” hired operatives for the State program, Lutheran Services and World Relief. We would like to say “Thank You” to Mr. Bilbro and his attorney, Lauren Martel, for being the “Davids” for We The People, taking on these “Goliaths” that are working to destroy our Culture.
And you have to believe that the Goliaths are more than a little concerned by the way they have reacted to the lawsuit. First they have brought in several of the most powerful law firms in the State to vanquish the Davids. Then on Thursday, March 10, they motioned to move the case out of the State Court, where it was filed, and moved it in to Federal District Court. Then on Thursday last, the Plaintiffs were informed that the infamous Southern Poverty Law Center was coming in to the case as counsel for Lutheran Services. Yes, THAT Southern Poverty Law Center which fights for every “out of the mainstream” liberal issue that surfaces. For the people who say “politics makes for strange bedfellows” they haven’t seen anything until a politician gets sued.
So, what does this lawsuit actually endeavor to do? Mr. Bilbro is just asking that there be a pause in the actions, under the State Refugee Resettlement and Asylum Program in South Carolina, until it can be proven, and that those operating the program can show evidence, that they are able to properly vet those who they wish to bring in to the State? I don’t know about you, but doesn’t that seem like a fairly reasonable request for a legal and law-abiding CITIZEN to make of their governments? I would think it is something that EVERY Citizen in this Country should expect our governments to do, don’t you? Don’t you have to wonder why the Goliaths are reacting like they are to this reasonable expectation? I have to think the reason is two-fold.
First, it’s the power thing. The government Goliaths thought process is first and foremost, “How dare some common Citizen think they can stand and challenge the brilliance of our decisions?” The government Goliaths will then immediately go in to an “offensive” defense of whatever their “subjects” choose to question or challenge. And they will think they are showing their true superiority by using the brute force of their position(s) in government to quash any apparent idea that they have made a mistake.
Second, FOLLOW THE MONEY. The government Goliaths know that these so-called “non-profits” will bring suitcases full of national government money to the State in the immediate future. And because government works totally in the static, not the dynamic, government doesn’t ever really consider the costs to the current residents in the “long game”. The other Goliaths, the “non-profits”, are multi-million dollar operations, who just like those who deal in livestock, are paid “by the head” for every “refugee” they move and resettle. So, if there is a disruption in the flow, their revenue stream is affected.
Where do We The People go, and what do we do, from here? I first would ask that we all Pray for Mr. Bilbro and Ms. Martel. I know them both personally and they both know that this is a Divine Mission they are called to pursue and they believe in the Power of Prayer. Second, if you feel the calling, the Davids are fighting with limited resources, against the Goliaths who have access to tax dollars AND the millions of the “non-profits” to fund their legal costs, please consider making a contribution to the legal fund of the Davids. In closing, whether you are in South Carolina or any other State, understand that this lawsuit affects you and your family and your community. Why? Because this lawsuit is the “Canary in the Coal Mine” working to save ALL of US miners. And if this bird dies, it is a major blow in the death of our Country and our Culture.
