The Staff at IFC Pediatrics Welcomes You.

We are a Pediatric Clinic with 4 Board Certified pediatricians in Burlington, NC. We care for all children from birth until 18 years of age. We treat all types of childhood conditions and illnesses. Our office specializes in helping parents with children with learning problems, ADHD, behavior concerns and developmental concerns.

The IFC opened its doors in December of 1999 as a solo pediatric practice of Dr. Rosemary Fernandez Stein. The clinic has grown to a staff of four board certified pediatricians. The clinic offers care to patients in English, Spanish, and French. The majority of the clinic’s staff is bilingual. The clinic is privately owned and has never accepted outside funding. It has grown to be the second largest pediatric clinic in the county.

The clinic’s co-owner is Dr. David Stein. He is a former veteran military physician who is board certified in Family Practice. Dr. Fernandez Stein was a contract pediatrician on the staff of Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Ft. Campbell, KY in 1995-1996. Due to the doctors’ extensive military background, the clinic is proud to accept Tricare and participate in the care of the children of our active and retired military.
