Subtitle: Even if this new NC State legislation states that you should refer to your birth certificate, all you really need to do is check your plumbing.
I’ve never really had a problem in my 60+ years on this Planet deciding which bathroom I needed to use, when I needed to use one. Now, I’ll admit, I’ve had an occasion or two trying to figure out the cute little names that certain establishments choose to refer to the two sexes as, but once I figured that piece out, deciding which one to actually go in to use has just never created any kind of a dilemma for me. But evidently there are scores, or at least maybe a dozen, of my fellow homo sapiens in North Carolina for which this creates quite the crisis. Evidently we have moved beyond the place where the human anatomy defines a person’s sex. Really?
And even more concerning than that is that it appears that some of the largest and most profitable companies in the United States today don’t believe it does either. REALLY? Well, it surely must be true because we, the residents of the State of North Carolina, are being warned by “many” of these companies that they are going to quit doing business in North Carolina, because our legislature passed a law that codified that your sex is directly a circumstance of your anatomy. Who would have ever thought, that by the General Assembly simply confirming something, that literally goes ALL the way back to Adam and Eve, it would create such outrage and controversy?
Now, the latest is that we’re seeing the outcry from other States and cities, all across the fruited plain, that they too will be restricting those, who work in and/or for their governments, from all “unnecessary” travel to the State of North Carolina. I wonder if we’ll soon be hearing from foreign governments and companies expressing a similar displeasure with our General Assembly actually making such an unreasonable decision? I can see the meetings now where the Head of State or CEO says, “We will be forgoing access to any of the economic boom that is happening in the State of North Carolina, because they made the audacious decision to require that a man uses the Men’s restroom, and that a lady uses the Lady’s restroom,” How dare they be so discriminatory and draconian as to say your restroom access is determined by the individual’s anatomy?
I guess now I have to wonder what the next axe to fall is going to be? Will certain other species choose to boycott the State? Will the aliens from outer space choose to only land anywhere else in the world so they will be assured of their choice of which bathroom to use? I’m pretty certain of one thing, there won’t be any REAL religious organizations or institutions that will refuse to visit or operate in the State of North Carolina. Or any companies who truly support the foundational principles of this great Republic.
Why would I say this? Because this Republic was built upon the foundation of the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God, before and above all else. And despite the constant effort by the “educated” and “secularists” among us, to destroy these basic truths, the vast majority of our Citizens still know and believe the “self evident truths”, laid out by the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God. And one of the most basic and foundational of those truths is the division of the sexes. And despite how many would choose to blur that line, they are a scant minority of the whole of the US Citizens. So, if you need to use a public bathroom in NC, and you don’t want to have a conflict, all you need to do is “check your plumbing”.
