Editor’s Note: This article is in no way meant to minimize the tragedy of the senseless loss of 17 Human Beings at the hands of an evil person. It is only meant to offer an explanation of how and why this happened. We pray for the Souls and the families of the victims.
In the aftermath of the tragic shooting in Parkland, FL on this Valentine’s Day, this appears to be the latest rally cry of the Liberal-Progressive anti-freedom anti-gun movement, “DO ‘SOMETHING’!” What a senseless, and really stupid, thing to rally around. Do something? What is the “something” we’re supposed to do? Yes, I know their point is to move to strip the US Citizen of their God-given right to own and possess an inanimate object, the gun. My question is, “Will that really have any effect on the shooting in Parkland or the next mass shooting to come in the future?” In a word, the answer is “NO”. DO SOMETHING!!
I’m going out on a limb and say that “political correctness” is what really killed 17 people at a high school in Parkland, FL last week. Really? Political correctness? How could I possibly say such a crazy thing? Maybe I say it because it is the truth? In this age of “See something, say something”, it appears that more and more people every minute are stepping up and reciting how they saw something and said something about the actions and the behaviors of the eventual shooter. It appears that virtually every level of law enforcement had been told “something” about the eventual shooter, but did nothing. Many were told multiple “somethings”. And to my amazement, all did nothing. DO SOMETHING!!
I agree with the many who say that this troubled young man should not have had access to an AR-15. I will go even further and say that this young sociopathic individual shouldn’t have had unencumbered access to other people. And the evidence continues to mount that there were multiple people, who said something to multiple people or institutions of authority, who were saying the same thing. And all of them did nothing? But now most everybody wants us to believe that it was the gun’s fault. DO SOMETHING!!
“Political Correctness Kills 17 At Florida School” should have been the headline seen across the Country.
Def.: Po·lit·i·cal Cor·rect·ness- (pəˈlidəkəl kəˈrek(t)nəs/ )- noun- The avoidance, often considered as taken to extremes, of forms of expression or action that are perceived to exclude, marginalize, or insult groups of people who are socially disadvantaged or discriminated against.
Doesn’t that sum it up right there? How many people have we heard in the last week making every excuse possible for the one person responsible for the 17 deaths, the shooter? And then going far out of their way to blame the tool used, not the mechanic who used the tool. I can now only conclude that young sociopaths are the newest “group” who cannot be offended under the guise of political correctness, which was why nothing was done to the eventual shooter. And since political correctness has become an acceptable reason for anything, it must be what killed 17 people. How many times do the police have to show up at one individual’s homes before somebody decides to “Do Something”? The latest number I’ve heard is that the police visited the shooter’s homes 36 or 39 TIMES! Can you give me any good reason why nobody did anything? Heck, can you even give me any bad reason why nobody did anything? I can’t either. DO SOMETHING!!
Now we know that the FBI was notified at least a couple of times about the eventual shooter and what did they do? Nothing. We have people on every side of the political divides in the Country pointing fingers at every other person about what they didn’t do and demanding that we DO SOMETHING!! We have the Governor of Florida calling for the FBI Director, who has been in his position for less than a year, to resign because of this. But what did the various levels of law enforcement under the direct, or indirect, supervision of the Governor of Florida, who has been in his office for more than 7 years, do with their information about the eventual shooter? Nothing. This seems like a problem to me. DO SOMETHING!!
For the last several decades this cancer of political correctness has been spreading throughout our Country and we have no real “body count” of how many of our fellow Citizens have been killed by it. But I contend that as of the end of the day on St. Valentine’s Day, 2018, there are 17 more people in the United States who have lost their lives to this cancer. And there are many more of their family and friends who have now been touched by it. DO SOMETHING!!
God Bless America! And America, Please Bless God Again!!
