This past week leading up to the Memorial Day Weekend, I was maddened by the actions of President Obama. As the hearts and minds of the American People prepared to reflect on, and honor, our fellow Americans who gave all in the defense of our Country and our Culture, where was Obama? The President was doing his latest “Apology Tour” in two of the very countries responsible for thousands of those same deaths. Does anybody question that this was done on purpose?
There is no way that Obama didn’t have his “people” advise him on what the optics of this would be. And the despicable and vile excuse for an American did it anyway. To paraphrase the words of the first lady, Moochelle Obama, “I have never been so ashamed of my Country as I was watching President Obama grovel before our former enemies.” It was apparent that he worked hard to shove his thumb in the eye of every American. All the while doing it with that excrement-eating grin on his face. You could tell he was thoroughly enjoying every minute of it.
Did anybody notice the pictures of him posing with the President of Vietnam in front of the larger than life bust of Ho Chi Minh? I have to believe he did this specifically to insult every Veteran who fought against Chairman Ho and his jungle animals in the Vietnam War. This excerpt from the President’s speech in Hanoi speaks volumes- “Think of all the veterans, Vietnamese and American, who have helped us heal and build new ties. Few have done more in this regard over the years than former Navy lieutenant, and now Secretary of State of the United States, John Kerry, who is here today. And on behalf of all of us, John, we thank you for your extraordinary effort.” John Kerry? Really? This would be the same John Kerry who came back from the Viet Nam War and led protest against the War and our troops. The same John Kerry who testified, and lied, before Congress that his fellow Americans were the ones purposefully killing women and children, and committing war crimes and atrocities against the Vietnamese people. The same John Kerry who threw fake war medals over the White House fence for the photo op. Now John Kerry is Obama’s partner in crime in this apology tour. You can’t make this stuff up.
So, if insulting the Vietnam Veterans, and the families and loved ones of every American who gave their lives in that God-forsaken hellhole wasn’t enough, it’s off to Japan to grovel before those who sneak-attacked US, and brought US in to World War II. Now that he’s in Japan, Hiroshima to be exact, did the President mention that fact? Did he mention that 111,000+ US Servicemen died fighting the Japanese? Did he mention the sheer brutality of the Japanese and their torture of Prisoners of War? Did he make sure to express the facts that the two nuclear bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, are estimated to have saved several million people, by causing the Imperial Japan Regime to surrender rather than there having to be an invasion of Japan? Nope, not a word about any of that.
But he did say this- “My own nation’s story began with simple words: All men are created equal, and endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, including life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Realizing that ideal has never been easy, even within our own borders, even among our own citizens.” Really? Yes, this is copied and pasted directly from his remarks at the Hiroshima War Memorial. Can anybody explain why this needed to be said at this time and place? Me neither. I can only guess he’s trying to draw some sort of “moral relativism” between US and Japan? Again, you just can’t make this stuff up.
To me, in light of all of this, the big question as I see it is, “Why did President Obama see the need to take this apology tour trip the week before the most solemn of United States National Holidays, Memorial Day?” You have to know that there was a specific purpose behind the exact timing of the trip. I can only conclude he did it to continue to show his true loathing and disrespect of our Military and their mission. And for those who have paid the ultimate price to preserve our Country and our Culture. In 7+ short years he has imparted more destruction on our Military than any President in my lifetime. And this kind of action only makes me believe he’s actually proud of his accomplishment. January 20, 2017 can’t get here soon enough!
