Russia! Russia! Russia! This has been the cry of the Liberal-Progressives and “Deep State” Republicans across the land since November 9, 2016 and today, July 11, 2018; there is no more evidence or information that Russia played any operational or actionable part in the 2016 Presidential election. Zero, Zilch, Nada! As a U.S. Citizen I’m reaching a point of disgust because a fraudulent distraction has been played on my fellow Citizens and I. And OUR President has been distracted and interfered with since the day he took the Oath of Office because of this fraud. And if you’re not reaching the same point of outrage then you need to wake up.
How did we get here and where are we going? The first part of this is easy. We got here because my fellow Citizens and I told the Country, and the World, on November 8, 2016 that we’d had enough and we knew that for the previous 28 years, at least, what was being done to this great Republic, by people on “both sides of the aisle”, had to end. So, the majority of the Citizens, in the majority of the States necessary, chose to elect a President who wasn’t a member of “The Club”. HOW DARE WE?! Then the members of “The Club”, on “both sides of the aisle”, said, “This can’t have ‘just happened’, something or somebody evil must have interfered with our election! We must investigate how the evil Donald J. Trump ‘stole’ this election from our chosen candidate?” And it was on.
So much of this has just been wrong. From the starting point of this “investigation” until today, the “powers that were” have been in full revolt. They created the illusion that anyone, who was even most remotely connected to the Trump Campaign, must be part of the “conspiracy” to steal the Presidency from their chosen one, Hillary Clinton. There was no possible way that the “masses” could just choose to stand against their choice for President. It had to be the Russians. The Russians? Can we remember that this is the same country that we had vanquished to the ash heap of history just 20+ years ago because they were bankrupt? This is the same country that couldn’t consistently provide food, or toilet paper, for its citizens. No one is saying the Vladimir Putin isn’t a bad guy and Russia isn’t still a bad actor, but the idea they were able to steal our Presidency is just downright foolish. If, and it’s a big if, they were able to do so, doesn’t this say a lot more about how slack we have been in operating our elections? Why is this what is being investigated?
So, where are we going? As with most everything that we’ve seen as a result of the actions of “The Club”, they seem to feel they are above the “Law of Unintended Consequences”. What does this mean in the big picture? Well, as a result of their temper tantrum, We The People now know that there has been a culture of corruption at the highest levels of the federal justice system, and it has now been exposed. This means one place we’re going is to shine a light on what has become a total disgrace to our Republic, the most powerful law enforcement organization in our government. This is a very good thing and We The People must push that this investigation of the operations of the FBI and the DOJ continues.
The next place we’re going is to look at how the whole election process in the United States works, or doesn’t. I have no doubt that more U.S. Citizens are actually wondering about how the whole election process operates then ever before. Until now We The People just accepted that our elections were free, fair and properly operated. Boy, is this anything but correct. And how many of us even know how our elections are run? Having been involved in elections research with a friend of mine, Maj. David Goetze, Army Retired, since the 2016 election, I’ve become too aware of how the elections in the State of North Carolina are operated, and I’m anything but impressed. There are many good people involved in the election process but I have learned that a very few operatives, with bad intentions, on the inside of our election operations could effect the outcome of close contests. I’m convinced that the process is secure against outside interference, can you say Russia?, but I’m also convinced it’s not nearly as secure against internal manipulation. We The People need to make sure this investigation continues, at the STATE level.
In closing, I believe that the whole storyline of “Russia Election Manipulation” has been a fraud perpetrated on the U.S. Citizens, and as Rep. Trey Gowdy said to Asst. Attorney General Rosenstein last week, “If you have evidence that President Trump colluded with the Russians, present it to the Grand Jury.” And it’s time that you “wrap the hell up” with this investigation because it is tearing this Country apart. But thanks to the “Law of Unintended Consequences”, we have been shown two areas of possible corruption and potentially nefarious operations, the FBI/DOJ and the elections process, that those in “The Club” will regret were ever exposed to the light of day. It’s up to We The People to make sure that these don’t just fade away in to the fog.
