As we celebrate the first anniversary of President Donald J. Trump’s return to the Presidency today, it’s hard to quantify all of the great advances our Country has made in this single year. We’ve never seen a President come into office with such a concise plan and roadmap, ready to correct 4 years of totally inept actions by the previous administration, and the dysfunction of 50+ years of National Government operations. It is totally mind-boggling to see the step-by-step action plan enacted.
Let’s start with the foundation this has all been built upon, the most talented and capable Presidential Cabinet in my lifetime. Across the whole group, they hit the ground running with a defined mission, Make America Great Again, and it has been a total Blitzkrieg on the dysfunctional bureaucratic central government that’s been being built for decades. It was very helpful that many of these entrenched bureaucrats, who suffered from “Trump Derangement Syndrome”, were willing to take an immediate buy-out and leave the government.
Then President Trump instituted a long list of Executive Orders and non-Cabinet appointees who immediately got to work. Then he delivered on what he said was “Job One” through the whole 2024 campaign, close the border. And with NO NEW LAWS and with no new LEGISLATION, he ended illegal immigration almost immediately. And once the driving forces behind illegal immigration saw he was serious, they just stood down.
This allowed his new Superstar Cabinet to get to work. For the last 30+ years, as Congress has abdicated their authority to the bureaucrats, on instituting the rules and regulations put forth in their laws when passed. So, the Cabinet hit the ground running, rolling back stupid and expensive regulations, that were stifling American industry across the board. Between OSHA (Department of Labor), EPA, Department of Energy and Department of Transportation doing their jobs taking unnecessary burdens off of multiple industries to start the rejuvenation of U.S. manufacturing and industry. They were brilliant in their operations!
And then President Trump hits the master stroke, implementing tariffs that incentivized formerly domestic manufacturing operations to be able to return to profitability here at home. And I don’t think President Trump has received the credit he deserves, for planning these early steps, in the proper sequence to allow what has happened to happen. This is what happens when you have a true tactical business professional, not a politician, as your Chief Executive Officer.
That is just the domestic economic pieces of what President has done. What about foreign policy? Well, let’s see, President Trump and his foreign policy team, led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, have been critical in the ending of eight long-term conflicts around the World. They have been dominant in causing both China and Russia to step back and reconsider their positions. And then to ring in the New Year, in conjunction with the great work of Pete Hegseth, and the Secretary of War’s operations, they removed the single greatest threat in the Western Hemisphere in Nicolas Maduro from Venezuela. This has caused all of the rogue actors in our Hemisphere to reconsider there whole positions.
Speaking of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, did everybody see where he laid out the total realignment of procurement by the DoW? He laid out the plan for the Department of War to use open market principles to determine who and what are involved in the future procurement for the Department. Most people, if you haven’t worked in the current procurement environment, don’t understand what a earth-shifting situation this is. I had a conversation 15 years ago, with Pete when he was with CV4A, and I was a businessman working military contracts, that we could cut the military budget and improve readiness, if we scrapped the current DoW procurement processes and operated like a business in the real world. I hope this is the start of that.
You can continue down the list of Cabinet Departments and see the influence of President Trump’s mindset on improving our Country, and our lives, in every Department. I’m so thankful that God blessed us with this President who loves our Country like few in my lifetime. Whether it’s Secretary Brooke Rollins at the Department of Agriculture, Secretary Scott Turner at Housing and Urban Development and, especially, Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., these dedicated public servants have gone far above and beyond doing what’s necessary to improve the lives of We The People.
One year in, we’re so far ahead of any administration entering their second consecutive term, it’s mind-boggling. But we understand this is what we’re seeing with a President being given a second chance to save his Country. We The People must be thankful and Praise the Lord for what has happened with President Trump being returned to the White House.
God Bless America! And America PLEASE Bless God Again!
